A bowl I purchased years ago from Pavilion Antiques, one of my favorite stores in Chicago. The Native American carved stone fetish I keep in it was a gift.
How do you live with your heirloom?
It sits on a beautiful cantilevered brass box, made by Jason Pickens of Brooklyn, in the entry of our apartment in New York.
Who in your life has most influenced your personal style and taste?
My late partner, Fernando Bengoechea. And my husband, Jeremiah Brent.
