One of the best parts about being in this industry is the amazing people we meet along the way. While we're always talking about story-telling through the things that we love, wear, and surround ourselves with, let's not forget that all of this culminates into one thing - our personal story. Our own personal narratives are what define us and make us beautiful - on the outside and in. Continuously discovering these stories about one another (when you're in the industry of fashion and jewelry) is practically the best part.
Last Wednesday we were lucky enough to sit at a table with some of the most amazing women inside the industry and out. At Freeman's Restaurant, we gathered some friends together - with our new friend Kelly Framel of The Glamourai - to celebrate MRKstyle, Monica Rich Kosann, and Framel as our first Quarterly Tastemaker. The table boasted two perfect smatterings: The first, a delicious array of family-style rustic small plates like Devils on Horseback, Cheddar Toasts, Market Vegetables and Herb-Roasted chicken, and the second, an even more impressive array of gorgeous ladies such as interior designer and blogger Athena Calderone, immensely popular fashion DJ Chelsea Leyland, blogger Fiona Byrne, Editorialist founders Kate Davidson Hudson and Stefania Allen, celebrity stylist Micaela Erlanger, and Elle's Leah Melby.
With flowers from Flower Girl NYC that were the perfect decorative element to the cozy atmosphere, it was definitely a setting we all fell in love with. Better yet, every woman in the room left armed with one of our key necklaces. We're not exactly calling them friendship charms, but with this group, we'd like to think they are...
