Monica Rich Kosann x The Glamourai

Monica Rich Kosann x The Glamourai

In kicking off our big relaunch of MRKstyle, we wanted an incredible tastemaker to collaborate with; one who would understand our aesthetic and constant commitment to storytelling. Kelly Framel - the tastemaker behind the beautiful website The Glamourai - was an obvious choice. Not only is she an advocate of all things visually delicious, whether it be fashion, home, or accessories, but she's also an innovator when it comes to visual storytelling on the web. When she launched her website in 2008, she was definitely a rarity in the newly blooming blogosphere. Where does Kelly's refined taste for all things beautiful come from? Her innate style, coupled with her background in evening wear for household names such as Dior, Dolce & Gabana and Ralph Lauren may have something to do with it.

Bringing her sensibility to the table, Framel journeyed with us to Connecticut for an inside look into Monica Rich Kosann's world (in her very private photography studio). At first meeting, it seemed kismet for these two to cross paths. Framel previewed Monica's newest jewelry designs, styling them on herself, Monica and around the studio, resulting in a gorgeous shoot. Kelly and Monica share a common love for storytelling, evening-wear, heirlooms, old Hollywood glamour and most importantly surrounding oneself with things that are visually scrumptious.

We're also pleased for Framel to be kicking off our Quarterly Tastemaker series, for which a tastemaker will curate his or her ten favorite picks from Monica's collection for our audiences to shop. Today though, here's an inside look into Kelly and Monica's exploration of our different collections. Stay tuned for a further look inside the experience tomorrow...
