That's A Poesy Ring
HBO's Game of Thrones Season 4 just ended, and we can't help but be reminded of our new Poesy Ring Collection as we explore the different characters on the show. The Poesy rings date back to the 14th century, where they bore inscriptions of love, friendship and inspiration. If we were to give a poesy ring to each character on Game of Thrones, what would they say? How would they not only inspire each, but also reflect whoever it was accurately? Here's which Monica Rich Kosann poesys we'd give to a few of your favorite characters...
Tyrion Lannister - To our favorite Lannister we'd give the "Carpe Diem" poesy ring, as he continues to seize the day, take revenge on the people who wronged him, and make absolutely everything good happen on this show.
Jon Snow - To Ned Stark's illegitimate son Jon Snow, we'd give the 'love' poesy ring to inspire him as he trudges on without family, and having lost the only woman he ever loved.
Arya Stark - Ned Stark's youngest daughter, possibly the bravest character on the show (who no doubt exacted some serious revenge this season) was definitely made for our 'never fear' poesy.
Daenerys Targaryen - The renowned mother of dragons would no doubt get our 'strength' poesy ring.
Sansa Stark - To the sadly isolated but newly empowered Sansa, we'd give the 'wish' ring, to always remind her that there is hope even at the darkest hour...
