About Mary Orton

Mary Orton is a tastemaker, business woman and devoted mother known for her classic style and witty storytelling. Mary and Monica bonded over their shared philosophy that jewelry should not just be beautiful, it should mean something. They worked tirelessly to perfect the Mary Collection – infusing every aspect of this personalized piece with thoughtful details that will delight, inspire and empower for years – and generations – to come.

The Collaboration

"Personalized jewelry has always been the most meaningful to me because it represents more than just beauty – it’s a unique reminder of who we are. As the mother of two young girls with a third baby girl on the way, this kind of timeless, heirloom-quality jewelry has become hugely important to me. Every day, my girls play with my necklaces and bracelets, gleefully examining the way they shine and sparkle. One day, these pieces that have been imprinted on their memories, will belong to them.

With the goal of creating a classic heirloom-quality piece that will be shared and worn by generations, Monica and I designed this personalized charm with meaningful detail infused in every element. From the delicate pinstripe back to the decorative engraved edge, each aspect has personal significance. I like to think of the diamond adorning the front as the wearer’s own north star – something to serve as a reminder of who you are and what matters most. And, whether you engrave your initial or the initial of a loved one you want to keep close, adding this personalized element transforms the jewelry into something that is uniquely yours – forever."
