"During a visit to Germany, I dug through chunks of rough stones, in the basement of our gemstone supplier’s workshop. We had created designs with rough stones before but seeing them in combination with one another inspired new thoughts of color-blocking for a group of lockets. Each piece of gemstone was hand selected with special attention to what inclusions and patterns would be featured in the finished piece. Each is a one-of-a-kind piece-designed, carved and set to make sure the stones become the star of the lockets.
