Our locket, charm and poesy collections were built solidly on those principles, and as we continued to add new collections, we would always ask ourselves if we were allowing a woman to tell her special story through our designs. By telling that story, we came to learn from many of our customers that they also felt empowered and inspired. They shared with us their favorite pieces of empowering jewelry from our collection and how these pieces expressed their individual journeys. It created conversations for us about female empowerment, self-empowerment and girl empowerment. We see our poesy bracelets as a collection of empowering bracelets, pieces that when worn snugly on the wrist never need to be taken off, so that their empowering messages are always secretly with you. Our lockets and charm necklaces are the empowering necklace pieces that can capture so many different meanings for each of us. When worn together in a grouping of short layers or long layers, these meanings become larger stories about many aspects of our lives. Among the charm necklaces is our Dorothy Medallion, a design inscribed with the words YOU HAD THE POWER ALL ALONG MY DEAR. With that design in mind, we began asking women in our MRK community to finish the thought, “I had the power when…” and we have been inspired by their responses.
