I was inspired by animals and all the diverse colors you find in both nature and the opals. The animals were perfect as my muse. I wanted, of course, the stone to be the star…and then the animal it becomes is rather architectural in design. Each piece, a one of a kind, shows off the iridescent colors in these beautiful opals but also takes on the characteristics of the animal. The final wearers become attached and that’s how opals find their final destination.
