"I was inspired by animals and all the diverse colors you find in both nature and these opals. The animals were perfect as my muse. I wanted, of course, the stone to be the star. Each piece, a one of a kind, shows off the iridescent colors in these beautiful opals but also takes on the characteristics of the animal. The Perfect Fit
The Jewels of Nature High Jewlry Collection was designed to convey the mystery of exceptional rare Australian Black Opals from the renowned Lightening Ridge region in Australia, Australian Crystal Opals, and Mexican Fire Opals.
These one-of-a-kind natural gemstones are both beautiful and challenging to design around. We imagined the stone as the bodies of different animals with an abstracted sculptural approach, and they were a perfect fit.
